CIS 2421 - Scaling Networks

The focus of this course is on the architecture, components, and operations of routers and switches in a larger and more complex network. Students will learn how to configure routers and switches for advanced functionality: configure and troubleshoot DHCP and DNS operations for IPv4 and IPv6; configure and troubleshoot VTP, STP, and RSTP; and implement RIP, OSPF, and EIGRP routing protocols for IPv4 and IPv6. The syllabus is included in the course and contains the course objectives, student learning outcomes, list of assignments and names of the course textbooks.
