Advanced Green Energy Systems CST222

Advance Green Energy Systems is a comprehensive study designed to provide a thorough understanding of the main issues surrounding the topic of energy, including alternative energy. As our society places more and more focus on becoming self-reliant, the demand for this understanding is growing. Energy sources, such as traditional fossil fuels and advancing through nuclear, geothermal, solar, and hydropower, will be covered, as well as their relationship to air quality and climate change. Students will learn to apply the principles of Advanced Green Energy Systems by implementing engineering and technology focused on green and sustainability. They will be able to evaluate and judge various levels of fuel efficiency, and therefore be able to describe and explain the process of selecting an alternative energy source.
