Farm & Food Entrepreneurship - GCC

1) Two sections of this course are planned to be offered in the Fall of 2014; these will be the first offerings of this course since creation: one on the campus of GCC during the day for students enrolled in the Farm & Food Systems Liberal Arts Option. 8 students have enrolled as of 23 May 2014, and the course has been approved to run. In addition, representatives from GCC are meeting with instructors at Smith Vocational – Technical School in Northampton, MA on Tuesday 27 May to arrange for a second section of this course to be offered at that site in the Fall of 2014. 2) A field trip to the Food Processing Center at the Franklin County Community Development Corporation will be incorporated into the course.
