NSC Mechatronics Technology Program Guide

Welcome to the 30-credit Mechatronics Technology Certificate program developed by the National STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) Consortium (NSC). The NSC is a collaborative of ten colleges in nine states funded by a U.S. Department of Labor grant to develop new workforce training programs in five technical pathways: Composites Technology, Cyber Technology, Electric Vehicle Technology, Environmental Technology, and Mechatronics Technology. This file contains all of the materials created for the NSC Mechatronics Technology Program Guide (program overview, information about the industry, the curriculum, program infrastructure, the role of the business community, student success strategies, and related documents). To review and download course materials, including teaching toolkits, syllabi, lesson plans, and miscellaneous instructional materials, look for the twelve courses with the name beginning “Course: NSC Mechatronics Technology Certificate Program“ in the National STEM Consortium Learning Resources Collection in SkillsCommons. The full NSC Mechatronics Technology program, including interactive online modules, also is available on the Open Learning Initiative website, www.oli.cmu.edu (see link below).
