IS:130 Hardware and Software Support
IS:130 Hardware and Software Support instructional resources; required course in the IT Help Desk/End User Support Certificate of Specialization program of study. This course covers the theory and hands-on skills necessary to pass the CompTIA A+ exam. Topics covered include hardware fundamentals, networking and security. Students will learn basic operating system functionality and troubleshooting methodology, the practice of proper safety procedures, and how to effectively interact with customers and co-workers. Basic computer literacy is expected.
