This course cartridge for Mechanical Components contains materials for a non-credit course that covers the basics and intermediate level of a wide selection of mechanical components found in the industrial setting. Focus is on fundamental components and devices and their proper uses. Emphasis is placed on working safely with such components. The student will participate in troubleshooting exercises designed to determine possible failure and/or preventive measures.
