SkillsCommons: Just In Time Patient Teaching eLearning Simulation

This simulation is designed to enhance and illustrate Just in Time Patient Teaching for healthcare students who have received initial instruction or information on this topic. This is accomplished through seven video scenarios that show various healthcare professionals using the five-step process to teach a patient. Each scenario focuses on specific patient needs and models the proper way to educate patients. Students are asked to respond to each scenario to determine their knowledge of patient teaching.
