CPAM Program Guide READ ME

This document explains which courses the colleges offer and how to use them. Standard CPAM course packages feature a Course Introduction (READ ME FIRST) for adopting instructors that explains the outcomes-driven instruction approach and any relevant background for that course; a student Syllabus that should be customized by the instructor based on their own institutional requirements; and instructor-focused Course Materials that provide a starting point for planning and delivering class sessions. Some include tests, quizzes, homework assignments, labs, Power Point Presentations, and discussion prompts. Lean Courses include only a READ ME FIRST and Syllabus because the material covered is proprietary or prepares students for a professional certification like Cisco Certified Network Administrator (CCNA). These CPAM materials provide only background and ideas to enhance the professional certification materials.
