Entrepreneurial Technician Course 1.0 Course Outline

This course outline will direct the online references and resources used for the 8 week Entrepreneurial Technician by class session. One class session is held for assessments and a marketing professional guest lecturer. This is geared to help students if they want to start a business or enhance their value to employers by teaching students the basics of entrepreneurship. Whether your future includes working for someone else or starting your own business, this course will add to your knowledge and skillset. Learn how to tell the difference between an idea and a worthwhile business venture. As you’re building your business concept, you will learn about competition, marketing, why “CASH IS KING!”, start-up funding and how to legally protect your product. Throughout this course, you will learn about business plans, business presentations and why they are critical to your entrepreneurial success. When you take the sum of all these parts, they equal The Entrepreneurial Technician – able to move between business and technical realms!
