Ivy Tech Statewide Information Technology Challenge 2017

These documents describe how the IT Challenge was run and the tracking documents used, including an example weekly agenda. The team met once a month for six months, then every other week for two months, and then every week in the six weeks prior to the event. Each meeting was only 30-60 minutes in length, after the initial meetings. Those took a few hours each to determine what the direction would be and how many events, with votes from campuses and votes on dates. The individual event developers volunteered 30-50 hours creating the individual competitions. The second version in 2018 version, added a job fair, instructor training and conference and was called the Ivy Tech IT Expo 2018. Development of the IT Challenge also challenged the faculty to work directly with employers to increase the skills of students.
