Networking 1 - Carroll
Networking 1 is designed to provide students with the necessary skills and knowledge required to configure, implement, maintain and troubleshoot TCP/IP-based computer networks. This course provides the student with hands-on experience in planning, configuring and supporting computer networks and computer networking devices. Students will learn the concepts of IP addressing, computer networking cabling and components, network security, and subnetting. This course consists of 12 sessions of instructor lectures and 41 corresponding labs. Written homework assignments and assessments are provided. Upon successful completion of the course, the student will be prepared to take the CompTIA Network+ N10-006 certification exam.
