This course is a study of management theories, emphasizing the management functions of planning, decision making, organizing, leading, and controlling. Module Topics: Managerial Functions, Managerial Evolution, External Influences on Organizations, Organizational Values, Managerial Function of Planning, Maintaining a Competitive Edge, Change Management, Management Across Cultures, Adapting to Change, Maximizing Team Performance, Human Resource Governance, Managing Organizational Diversity, Theoretical Models of Motivation, Being a Leader, Effective Communication, Data Management, and Operations Management. Materials include interactive lessons, quizzes, a glossary, discussion questions, and a final exam.
