Ohio TechNet CCC_EHST 1350 & 1351

Both the official course outline and course syllabus include relative content related to the Occupational, Health and Safety Act (OSHA) as required to develop ability to recognize safety and health hazards in both the general industry and construction work environments. Comprehensive review and instruction pertinent to OSHA laws, regulations, standards and employee rights and employer obligations. This course has been designed to incorporate and comply with training requirements as set forth in the basic General Industry Safety (29 CFR Parts 1910), Construction Safety (29 CFR Parts 1926) and American Red Cross Basic First Aid & CPR so as to provide certificates of training to students who completed the course and satisfactorily demonstrate core competencies associated with the standard. This three (3) credit hour course offered once a week during a 16 week semester is designed to meet OSHA training modules requirements for award of OSHA 30 Hour General Industry and OSHA 10 Construction.
