Introduction to hazards, safety and documentation of pole-climbing. Students learn the proper use of climbing gear, belts, hooks, and tools. Basic construction standards in digging and mounting poles. Climbing situations are practiced with students working out situations on a pole with installations. Some rescue situations are practiced.
