Medical Law and Ethics KMCB

It is imperative that any health-care professional have knowledge of medical law, ethics, and bioethics so that clients are treated with understanding, sensitivity, and compassion. No matter what the professional's education, experience, or position, any client contact involves ethical and legal responsibility. It is also imperative that this knowledge be used to provide the best possible service for the provider and employer. It is also important to note that healthcare is continually changing and evolving, including legal, ethical, and bioethical issues. Students will be introduced to legal terminology and medical practice management; medical law, liability, and duties; workplace issues; and bioethical issues relating to the health-care industry.
