Learner Competencies and Outcomes
Upon completion of this course module, the student will be able to:
- Prepare multi-page reports including cover page, letter of transmittal, table of contents, endnotes, footnotes, and bibliography using advanced features.
- Use advanced document formatting and editing techniques including special characters, tracking changes and tracking comments.
- Troubleshoot and utilize print features.
- Use advanced features of automatic correction.
- Utilize advanced file management techniques.
- Create and format word processing templates and styles.
- Create and format business documents with merge variables.
- Create and format word processing saved instructions (macros or quick parts, etc.).
- Create and format documents using the parallel and newspaper column format; move, copy, and sort text.
- Create and format tables using math features.
- Incorporate graphics and text art.
- Create forms within a document using the form feature.
- Create and format specialized business documents.
