It is important to be aware of the very unique nature of this program. Unlike the vast majority of educational programs found at a typical college, this program did not have its genesis in academe. It was birthed in the private sector and designed be an ‘ab initio’ program that would train motivated students in a highly focused environment. Upon successful completion of the program these individuals would be able to enter into the demanding job market of precision machining and not only obtain an entry level position, but be equipped to progress into advanced areas of the discipline as they gained experience
