MAT 1460 - Finite Mathematics for Business Analysis

Finite Mathematics for Business Analysis is a catch-all title for a collection of topics that are anything but calculus: functions, financial mathematics, systems, matrices, inequalities, linear programming, sets, permutations and combinations and elementary probability and statistics. The purpose of the course is to give a survey of mathematical analysis techniques used in the working world, but you might also say that this course gives valuable experience at organizing information and then analyzing it. Business, accounting and management majors tend to take this course, or are required to by their program. The syllabus is included in the course and contains the course objectives, student learning outcomes, list of assignments and names of the course textbooks.
