Students in this class will operate state-of-the-art analytical instruments to test materials using government, regulatory, and industry standards. Students will learn to test for traces of hydrocarbons, petrochemicals, metals, contaminants, and other materials. Please note that all course materials and content are provided in the IMS Common Cartridge (IMSCC) format.

Industry Partner:
An Industry Advisory Panel was established to develop the Laboratory Technology program and courses. The panel consisted of representatives from a variety of industries, including agriculture, consumer protection, environmental protection, food processing, manufacturing and pharmaceuticals. Advisory Panel members contributed to the design, development and delivery of the courses developed through this TAACCCT grant. The members also provide opportunities for work-based learning and job placements for program graduates.
