Second Life is an online virtual world, developed by Linden Lab. The virtual world can be accessed freely via Linden Lab's own client programs, or via alternative third party viewers. Project IMPACT has chosen to use Second Life to allow students access to IMPACT's "island" or virtual land to participate in activities that align with their classes. Examples of these activities include exploring potential jobs in related careers, interactive quizzes, lectures, workshops, study groups, and more.
