Green Manufacturing MFG 210

Green Manufacturing and Sustainability will take the student from applying environmentally conscious building practices to how green thinking can impact the processes involved in manufacturing and organizational management. Topics covered include the history of the Green Revolution, green standards and certifications for manufacturing and business, including global guidelines. Students will work through a road map to a green organization and understand ISO programs for sustainability. Green design and green manufacturing concepts will be discussed, including lean logistics and life cycle analysis and life cycle cost.
