Discontinued Math Course Outcome Summaries
Curricululm was developed to support underprepared students. A 12-hour Fast Track for Math program was offered at Western to allow program participants to review and practice basic math concepts that are utilized heavily in manufacturing courses, such as Applied Math. Material initially focused on basic math concepts, then transitioned into applied math skills that directly related to industry standards and application of math. Additional courses were modified and developed including HVACR Analog and Industrial Systems, Industrial Safety Practices, Intro to Digital Logic, Lean Production, PLC Ladder Logic and Soldering Fundamentals.
