Portal Program

The Portal program addresses the specific needs of the returning learner who might be currently unemployed, engaged in part time or a level of employment that is equivalent to their potential. The Transition Gateway involves a three part process and is a standalone training program to A. prepare the student with the self-management skills needed to be a proactive, intentional student; B. assess the student’s basic skills Applied Mathematics, Locating Information, and Reading for Information through ACT’s WorkKeys Assessment; and C. provides student with a spotlight on what employers are looking for and the industry they are going to be working in.
