AH105: Communication & Professional Behavior

Communication and Professional Behavior will cover skills to enable the student to communicate effectively with clients and employers, emphasizing professional boundaries, ethics, diversity, training, and establishing emotional intelligence. Additionally, the focus of the course will consist of role playing scenarios, case studies, a group project(s) to promote the content of communication and professionalisms effects on employability, employment, and client outcomes. This class is intended for Allied Health Program students earning a certificate as a Clinical Lab Assistant, Dental Assistant, and/or Medical Assistant.
