Students will learn how to collect a patient’s history, check patients into a clinic, and prepare them for their appointments or procedures. Instruction on patient care, taking vitals, treatment, diagnosis assistance, giving medication and performing specific screening tests will be addressed. There will be a review of an EHR computer program. Emergency plans with OSHA, MSDS and safety in the clinic will be discussed.
