IV Therapy

This course provides students with a basic knowledge of intravenous therapy practice. Upon successful completion of the course, students will be able to start and disconnect an IV and administer fluids as directed by the provider. Topics include types of I.V. devices, types of therapy, complications of I.V. therapy and venipuncture techniques.
