ECOM 100 - Electronic Commerce

Introduction to the technology and history of the Internet and its uses as an electronic commerce media from informational websites to full online retail systems. Included in the introductory survey will be analysis and evaluation of retail and business-to-business Internet-based systems. Course work includes web page design and the construction of a business-style web site, and in depth internet and email marketing techniques.
