Solar PV Technical Sales - GCC

Catalog description: This course will teach the basic technical knowledge set required for selling photovoltaic systems. Completion of this course will enable students to sit for the NABCEP Technical Sales certificate exam. Topics will include understanding customer motivation, how to properly evaluate a potential installation site, conducting performance analysis, understanding the multitude of incentives, and how to calculate financial returns and non financial benefits. A significant portion of the class will be spent understanding the time value of money, the financial return of PV systems, and the different financing methods. One or two field trips to perform site evaluation will be required. The course will consist of one 3 hour class session each week, for fifteen weeks.
