Project Management and Finance for Energy - BHCC

This course examines the theory and practice of Project Management as applied to renewable energy and energy efficiency projects. The course also explores financial considerations for sustainable energy projects, as well as a variety of funding mechanisms. Special focus will be applied to project life-cycles, planning, controlling, and coordinating efforts of multiple individuals and/or working groups. Students will gain an understanding of financial measures of project performance, budgeting, feasibility, and explore various funding mechanisms including government incentives, specialized loans, and performance contracts through case studies.
