Delaware Technical Community College Manufacturing and Food Safety Program Enhancements

The project aims to 1) establish a new Building Automation Systems AAS program, 2) integrate National Career Readiness Certification (NCRC+) and a National Association of Manufacturers (NAM)-endorsed Certified Production Technician (CPT) program within the Electromechanical Engineering Technology and Building Automation Systems AAS programs, 3) establish a bridge program for developmental education for students entering the Food Safety AAS program, 4) establish a non-credit Food Sanitation & Safety Certificate program, 5) establish a credit Food Safety Certificate, and 6) integrate these programs with existing programs to provide stackable credentials from certificate to AAS and/or from AAS to bachelors that increase employability in the target industries.
