Fundamentals of Human Disease - Berkshire CC

An introduction of human diseases. Topics include definition, etiology (cause), clinical findings (signs and symptoms) and treatment of a variety of human diseases and disorders. This course was created for students in Massage Therapy, Medical Coding or other areas which require a basic understanding of human disease. It is an alternative course for Pathophysiology geared for students in less technical majors. Pre-requisites: College prep High school biology with a C or better within 5 years or BIO 101 (General Biology I), or BIO 105 (Fundamentals of Biology) or BIO150 (Introduction to the Human Body)
