University of Alaska Fairbanks College of Rural and Community Development (UAF CRCD)

The University of Alaska Fairbanks College of Rural and Community Development (UAF CRCD), through its Career and Technical College and its five rural campuses, proposes to expand its outreach to students in five rural regions of Alaska. This project will be implemented outside of the urban area of Fairbanks, Alaska, in order to reach and respond to the demand from rural students and rural health care facilities and providers. This project will accelerate progress for low-skilled workers, build upon a program that meets industry standards, including implementing career pathways, and strengthen student support services and degree or certificate completion for rural Alaskan students.
