Southwest Virginia Community College (SWCC) TAACCCT Plugged In Initiative

Southwest Virginia Community College (SWCC) will partner with the Virginia Department of Educations Office of Adult Education and Literacy to expand the PluggedInVA program. PluggedInVA is an innovative, six-month accelerated program that combines contextualized GED curriculum, the Career Readiness Certificate, college curriculum totaling 12-28 credits, an array of support services, and industry-recognized certifications. Utilizing the PluggedInVA model program, SWCC will develop stackable credentials that align with existing programs and will develop stackable credentials for other high-skill, high-wage industries. Industry & Training Focus: Allied Health; and Law Enforcement.
