Math Boot Camp Curriculum - 854-750

This course is for students who are pursuing the Nursing program through the Bridges2Healthcare grant. Students will have the opportunity to develop their math skills prior to enrolling in occupational courses. Topics include: understanding the metric system, making conversions from U.S. to metric measurements and vice versa, converting regular time to military time and solving ration proportion problems such as IV drip rate. Students will apply the math skills covered in this course to a variety of nursing situation and/or settings.
