Nursing Program Redesign to Accelerate Completion and Support Additional Career Pathways

Delaware Technical Community College will build on its successful TAACCCT 1 model for accelerating progress and reducing time to completion by 1) developing an Accelerated Nursing Program that includes pathways for three stackable credentials and 2) using Lecture Capture technology to enhance all nursing courses. The approach includes significant revisions to the nursing curriculum to align programs across three campuses and to develop an accelerated program for students pursuing the Registered Nurse (RN) credential, with opportunities within the curriculum to attain the Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) and/or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) credentials.
