Nursing (Whatcom Community College)

The purpose of the nursing program is to educate students who are currently certified as nursing assistants in the state of Washington to practice nursing within varied health care settings in collaboration with other members of the health care team and to assist individuals who are experiencing commonly occurring health care problems to progress toward an optimal level of health and wellness. It prepares students to take the National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX-RN).
