Course Note:
This course involves a study of blood cells (quantitative and qualitative) and includes a study of development, recognition of normal and abnormal cell morphology, alterations present in disease, studies of anemias and leukemias, studies of platelets and coagulation factors, the coagulation mechanism, and tests employed in the hematology and coagulation laboratory.
