This course is intended for the students planning a career in the Diesel Technology Field. It is designed to provide instruction in the Heavy Equipment A/C systems used in today’s equipment. The theory and operation of systems will be presented. Proper handling of the refrigerants according to the EPA regulations set forth will be covered and voluntary certification from the ASE will be offered. Diagnosis and repair of systems will be emphasized.
