HIT 2220 Intermediate Diagnosis Coding
This course focuses on application of intermediate principles learned in HIT 1020 using the International Classification of Disease (ICD). Students will code a wide range of original source documents they may encounter on the job. The student will translate source documents and apply previously learned coding techniques in ICD-10-CM and ICD-9-CM concepts.
