Instructional Materials - HITECH Act (Bellevue College)

This document contains a compilation of instructional resources related to HITECH Act, which may include content sources, learning activities, discussion questions, and assessment questions. These health IT materials were designed to be infused into existing Nursing, Allied Health, and IT programs. The Health Information Technology for Economic and Clinical Health (HITECH) Act was passed as part of the economic recovery package of 2009, and authorized the investment of billions of dollars in incentives and infrastructure for healthcare. One of the major outcomes of the HITECH act was mandating meaningful use of electronic health records. These instructional resources will help clinical and general students understand how the HITECH Act impacts their work.
