New America Public Interest Technology

New America was founded in 1999 and develops policies, platforms, products, and a new practice of public problem-solving to advance equity and affect meaningful change in people’s lives across five broad clusters: technology & democracy, family economic security, people and planet-centered politics, education from birth to workforce, and political reform and civic cohesion. We maintain specific commitments across all the clusters we work in — centering equity, creating narrative change and supporting storytelling, field and pipeline building, and local engagement and participation. The collection of Open Educational Resources in SkillsCommons has been produced by a wide range of New American grantees advancing the field of Public Interest Technologies.
