BLD 100 Green Residential General Contracting - Spring 2015

This course is an introduction to basic green residential construction. Topics include the basics in blueprint reading, specifications, insurance, excavating, concrete, carpentry, plumbing, HVAC, indoor air quality, electrical, masonry, insulation, drywall, cabinetry, floor coverings, siding, and critical path design. An emphasis will be placed on “green”, energy and environmentally responsible new construction strategies and materials.
