Flow Cell MAC 257
In this course students will demonstrate the skills learned through the Integrated Machining Program in a live production environment. Students will be assigned various tasks including tool presetting, 5 axis milling, 3 axis turning, ID and OD grinding, EDM machining and CMM programming and measuring. Students will also demonstrate proper Lean and Six Sigma ideology, as well as, human health and safety in a live production machining flow cell. Students will work in a high performance team to program, setup, manufacture, and inspect a complex, precision component.
