This course is a study of personnel administration functions within a business organization. Major areas of study include job analysis; recruitment, selection and assessment of personnel; and wage, salary, and benefit administration. Topics Include: Functions of HR , Legalities of EEO, EEO Compliance, Creating Jobs, Staffing-A Human Resource Function, Help Wanted, Making the Cut, Induction Program , The Managerial Path , Advancement: What Does It Take?, Measuring Performance, More Than Money, Compensation, Incentives to Perform, Benefits of Employment , A Safe Work Environment, Managing Employees, Unions, and Bargaining for Fairness. Materials include interactive lessons, quizzes, discussion questions, and a final exam.
