Computer Numerical Control (CNC) Production Specialist Program

This program is designed for those individuals desiring employment in a career as a CNC Machine Operator. Students will be introduced to the basics of machining and CNC coding. Hands-on training will allow students to practice what they learn in the classroom and the ability to make simple parts. This is a 460-hour course (includes over 200 hours of hands-on experience). This course offers a pathway to one of the most sought after positions in today’s high-tech manufacturing marketplace. You will start with the basics of CNC machining by working first with the manual machines and then progress to working with some of the most advanced computer simulation tools in order to better understand the mechanics of designing and making simple parts. You will have the opportunity to earn both your NIMS (National Institute for Metalworking Skills) certification and international certification through IHK in this course.
