The purpose of this course is to provide students with the knowledge of how to apply Medical Coding and Billing guidelines for hospitals, physician offices and other healthcare agencies. ICD-10-CM, CPT (Current Procedural Terminology) and HCPCS (Healthcare Common Procedure Coding system) coding will be the focus of the course.
