Both training outlines and course syllabus include relative content related two (2) separate modules that set forth thorough introduction to proper sampling methodology and collection of air, water, and soil sampling including basic operations of sampling equipment and devices, monitoring methodology, proper sample collection and documentation, and review and application of analysis to determine environmental impact or exposure. Health Hazard Awareness – Training Module: An introductory training course revolving around health hazards encountered in the public health field. Introductory topics include asbestos, radon, mold, lead and other heavy metals. Training courses include thorough overview presentations and hands-on activities to emphasize health hazard awareness associated with each topic. Worker Safety – Training Module: An introductory training course revolving around worker protection and safety from those health hazards associated with the public health field. Introductory topics include chemical, electrical, safe walking surfaces. Training courses include thorough overview presentations and hands-on activities to emphasize safe working practices within each topic. This course has been designed to incorporate and comply with training requirements as set forth under respective OSHA provisions as to provide certificate of training to students who completed the course and satisfactorily demonstrate core competencies associated with these standards.
