Basic Computer Skills Course Pre-Assessment Test Module

The Basic Computer Skills Course Pre-Assessment Test is a module offered as part of the Basic Computer Skills Course (BITS). One of the most pressing needs for businesses in Wisconsin, as well as the nation, is for workers to have basic to advanced levels of information technology (IT) skills regardless of career sector. Even though computers seem to be absolutely everywhere, not everybody knows how to use them or use them well. The Pre-Assessment Test module was created as tool to assess a learner’s basic computer skills and provide a score tailored to each unit of the Basic Computer Skills Course. The scores can be utilized to target and focus learning on specific units of learning.
