860-761 Computer Competency & Writing Boot Camp

This boot camp is designed for all cohort students pursuing the Office Receptionist with medical emphasis program through the TAACCCT IV ACT for Healthcare grant. Students will learn about computer hardware and software, gain knowledge in basic computer terminology, and develop skills in basic computer operations. They will learn how to utilize CVTC's student technology resources, Outlook, email, and the Internet. They will also develop and/or improve keyboarding skills to increase speed and efficiency when keying information into the computer. Finally, writing skills related to the medical office receptionist position will be explored.
