Southwest Virginia Community College (SWCC) PluggedIn and Ready to Work

The project will target advanced manufacturing and carpentry and establish a pathway for adults to obtain their GED while also earning college credit. Service area: Tazewell, Russell, Buchanan, and Dickenson counties in Virginia. Outcomes: 224 served, 157 completions, 157 earning credentials, 34 enrolled in additional education after program, 85 employed after program, and 36 employed at enrollment who receive a wage increase post-program.
